About Saadia Ahmed
Saadia is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed, Inc.. She believes in comprehensive financial planning which includes, investments, college planning, insurance, estate planning, tax planning, cash flow and goal planning. She helps clients with not only developing the initial strategies but continuing to work together on implementing, monitoring, and maintaining those strategies as well. Saadia enjoys working with professionals and families who are either in their mid-career, nearing retirement, or retired. She also works with small business owners, helping with both their personal and business financial planning and investments.
Saadia has an MBA, the CFP® certification and the CMFC® designation and holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations. She also has insurance licenses in California for Life, Accident, Health, Variable Contracts (License#0F12253). Insurance products are offered through insurance companies with which Waddell & Reed has sales arrangements.
Saadia runs her practice along with her husband, Iftikhar, out of Waddell & Reed's Cupertino office. They live in Los Gatos with their two children. Saadia is actively engaged in the local community, and is passionate about issues and opportunities in the areas of education and empowerment of women in general.
